The Executive committee of the Irepodun Ifelodun local football council having received a circular letter from the Ekiti State FA on the 5th of November advising all local football councils to organize a football competition to be played amongst towns within their jurisdictions have concluded plans to organize the competition in local government.
As our media team gathered from the Twitter handle of the football council, the competition will kick off at designated match venues in the local government on Sunday 6th December 2020 while the 3rd place and final would be held at the Ekiti Baptist High School, Igede Ekiti on Sunday 27th December 2020.
It was further learned that football teams representing various towns within the local government can start picking up forms with a sum of five thousand naira (NGN 5,000) as registration for the competition starts on Saturday 14th and closes on Friday 27th November 2020.
There are various cash prizes and individual awards available for winners in a competition whose main objective is to create more fun for the December festivities
