Undefeated Nigerian Boxer, Bolatito Arrives New Zealand For World Title Shot

Nigeria boxer Bolatito Oluwole touched down for a World Title fight next Saturday, 7 September 2024, Sports247 reports.

The undefeated Nigerian Boxer, whose impressive boxing record of Nine wins out of nine fights placed her as the number one challenger for IBF Light Weight Title .

She will face Maori boxer, Lani Daniel who is a two-division world champion and the IBF Light Heavyweight champion at the Globox Arena.

On Arrival at the Auckland airport on early Friday morning told local journalists that she was in the country for business and not pleasure as she is focus on becoming a World Champion.

“I’m not going to be here long enough to enjoy too much. It’s more training and focusing on the fight night right now”, said Bolatito.

She spoke further on how confident she is on getting the job done against the champion Lani Daniels.

“My confidence is 100 per cent for this fight.” She is a person of few words. She does not have any predictions for the fight, only to “just to get there and get it done”.

Bolatito Oluwole is ranked 1st in IBF, 1st in WBO, 5th on Boxrec, 6th in WBA and currently holds the Kenyan national Crusierweight title, one of three professional boxing national champions in the world who is a female crusierweight champion.

Bolatito’s opponents Daniels is more experienced and is the favourite going into the as she has more fights, more rounds and her extensive amateur boxing career is also an added advantage but the Nigerian can always rely on her power punches which has swung five of her victories in her favour via knock outs.

Lani is a two-division world champion, current IBF Light Heavyweight world champion, three-time New Zealand national professional boxing champion, first-ever ANBF Australasian Heavyweight female champion and a two-division New Zealand amateur champion, will the Nigerian power upset the books ?

The question will be answered on Saturday September 7, late night 7, early hours on Sunday in Lagos.
