As hostilities resumed in the second half, Jets continued displaying a scintillating brand of football but it was the SD FC side that reduced the deficit in the 55th minute to make it 2-1.
However, any hope of them snatching a draw was dashed in the 83rd minute as 15-year-old attacking midfielder, Ukeyima Emmanuel, stole the show with a moment of brilliance after a sensational run down the right flank of the pitch and a powerful finish beyond the goalkeeper’s reach to wrap yet another victory for coach Aminu Musa’s Jets team.
It is a positive development for the technical crew of the team as Jets players keep improving in each of their pre-season friendly matches played so far ahead of the forthcoming NNL season.
