Amajoy Ugochukwu Michael is a 17-year-old player of the Juventus Academy Nigeria. He has been with the Academy for nine months, and he plays as a striker or left winger.

Speaking with Sports247.ng, Ugochukwu recounted how he joined the Academy, he said, “I discovered them online on IG, registered and applied for their training program. I was assessed through a match where they watched me play and gave me admission. I trained with them for the first time, and they assessed me, and when they were satisfied with my performance, they gave me an admission letter.”
Ugochukwu’s passion for football started when he was in Primary 5, where he played street soccer and in the school team. He has kept his passion for the game till now. Talking about his motivation, Ugochukwu says, “I love playing football naturally because I love Ronaldo. He is my motivation and my football icon.” He says that he works with the ball outside his training time with the academy.
Ugochukwu’s future goal is to become a professional footballer and play for big teams like Real Madrid after he is done with his education. In his own words, “I want to become a professional footballer. I want to play for big teams like Real Madrid.”
When asked about his advice to other young people who love football and would like to join the academy, Ugochukwu said, “Work hard and keep working on yourself, and do not give up. Some people give up because they feel they are too old to play football, but it does not matter. Just keep working and believing in yourself.”
Ugochukwu’s story is one of passion, hard work, and dedication to the beautiful game. He is a rising star at the Juventus Academy Nigeria, and his dream of playing for Real Madrid is one that he is determined to achieve.
