Following his side’s comprehensive victory over Rangers international in Thursday’s Nigeria Professional Football League rescheduled match, Peter Ubakanma says the team is delighted to deliver a masterclass performance against a very good opponents.
Rivers United who has struggled to dominate teams at home this season find themselves leading table topper Rangers by three goals with fourteen minutes left to play, a performance that surprised many fans.
While reflecting on the result , Ubakanma told Sports247 that the team is happy to prove doubters wrong, because not many people gave them chance to dominate Rangers in such game.

The midfielder who sometimes plays in right back position concluded that his team will take the good form to Agege Stadium where they play MFM FC on Sunday and try to get something from the match.
The Pride of Rivers defeated the Olukoya Boys 1-0 at the Yakubu Gowon Stadium in the reverse fixture earlier in the season.
