Two players of Inspire FA of Lagos, Jimoh Farouq and Anthony Ezekiel came from the bench to Flying Eagles to a 2-0 victory against Young Elephants of Cote d’Ivoire in Abidjan, on Wednesday, Sports247 reports.

The two players justified their place in the 21 man squad named by coach Zubairu Yusuf for the international friendly when they are called for action from the bench.
The Nigeria team were tightly held down to a goalless draw by the Young Elephants in the keenly contested match through out the first half.
The introduction of the two players change the narrative as the Flying Eagles ran away with a 2-0 after the break.
The two attackers wer introduced before Captain Daniel Bameyi made good of the chance from the spot in the 63rd minute, converting from six yards after an infringement on Divine Oliseh.
The seven-time African champions dominated the game and scored the second goal through Divine Olise in the 80th minute which was ably assisted by Babatunde Jimoh Faruq of Insipire FA to give the a confidence boosting 2-0 victory over Ivorians ahead or the 2025 U20 African Cup of Nations, (U20 AFCON)
