The Flamingos have been grouped in Group B of the FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup alongside Germany, Chile and New Zealand.
The World Cup is the played in India last this year in October as 16 countries converge for the showdown.
The draws were held today and Nigeria one of the three representatives of Africa found themselves against football power, Germany.
A statement from the Nigeria Football Federation via their Twitter handle reads:
“Here we go! Our Flamingos have been drawn in Group B ahead of the U17 FIFA Women’s World Cup billed to be staged in India.”
The Flamingos had best of qualifying series as they went unbeaten through out without conceding a goal.
The Flamingos alongside Morocco and debutants, Tanzania will be Africa’s representatives.
