National President, Football Fans Club of Nigeria , FFCN, Ambassador Oluwakemi Ogunfuwa has sent a congratulatory message to the Board of Nigeria Football Federation, ably led by Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Gusau and Ministry of Youth and Sports for the victory over Tanzania at Lekan Salami Stadium, Adamasingba, Ibadan.
The Lagos based Business tycoon , Ogunfuwa who doubles as Supporters Club Supremo, was the cynosure of all eyes at the Lekan Salami, Stadium, Adamasingba on Saturday when Olympic Eagles dispatched their East African counterparts 2-0.
The exhilarating dancing steps of the matriarch attracted her members as they started spraying her cash.According to the member of Lagos State Women Football Committee, she said: “On behalf of Football Fans Club of Nigeria, FFCN, I congratulate the Federal Ministry Sports and of course the Board of Nigeria Football Federation, NFF led by Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Gusau for qualifying the Olympic Eagles to the final round of U-23 AFCON Qualifiers.We got to the stadium as early as 12:30p.m to make sure we were at the centre stage. I was in high heaven when Omo Jesu and Success Makanjuola registered those two goals which qualified us to the final round of AFCON qualifiers. The reason why I danced like that was that we were together with the team in Lome cheering them on our own expenses but we did not qualify. This time around, we are seeing a green light and this makes my members to be splashing me cash gifts. This is what football can do. We are all very happy for the victory.”
