After two weeks the semi-final matches in the male and female categories of the WGB Lagos State Challenge Cup have been played, and the Organisers are yet to announce the date and venue for the closing ceremony.
Two weeks ago, Ottasolo defeated MFM 4-2 on a penalty shoot-out after one goal apiece in the semi-final as Dannaz edged out Smart City 4-2 on penalties after a barren draw to reach the final stage.
In the female category, FC Robo Queens walloped Papa Queens Soccer 6-0, while Dannaz Ladies beat Lakeside Queens 1-0
Sports247.ng observed that most of the states have concluded their finals while some played their finals this week.
Some of the coaches, players football fans who spoke to sports247.ng said organizers ought to have fixed the date by now so that it would allow the teams in love to speed up their preparation.
Others said they should give the organizers this week saying that failure to play the final next weekend would be a disappointment to Lagos football fans.
