Victor Agoh and Temple of KG Sports Academy and Ultimate Stars Academy respectively were picked following a 4 day Scouting tournament played at the Agbor Township Stadium.
Eight teams took part in the tournament which was won by Winners FC by a lone goal against Ekuku Agbor United. KG Sports Academy finished 3rd after walking over Soccer Stars in the third place play off.
To win the Tournament, Winners FC played a 0-0 draw against Star Peak before defeating ambassadors 2-0 and then wen on the beat Delta Milan by a lone goal.
In the Quarter finals, Winners FC sailed over Golden Boys 1-0 and won the semi finals against Soccer Stars with the same scorelines.
However, the Scouts who were on ground picked Striker Agoh Victor of KG Sports who was the highest goal scorer of the tournament scoring 5 goals from 5 games and Defender Temple of Ultimate stars.
Sponsor of the Tournament, Mr Samuel of Dino sports acknowledge the budding talents in Agbor and hopes more players will be discovered in the future while lauding KG Sports academy’s effort in nurturing young talents.
