Nigeria Super Falcons returned to winning ways when they defeated CSKA Moscow by a lone goal today in Turkey.
The goal coming from Francisca Ordega low cross found Chinwe Ihezuo in the box.
The match was Randy Waldrum’s first game in charge of the senior female national team since he agreed to be the technical adviser.
The American handed Sevilla midfielder, Antoinette Payne and Patricia George their debuts appearance in the match.
It ended Nigeria 1 – 0 CSKA Moscow in Turkey.
The Super Falcons continue their journey in the tournament on Saturday when they face Uzbekistan Saturday by 5 pm.
