4 goals Queen, Asisat Oshoala has revealed that the Turkish Women’s Cup has been a positive outing so far for the Super Falcons.
Oshoala who had been in terrific form for her club Barcelona finally scored in the on-going Turkish Women’s Cup after scoring the first of her 4 goals in the 11th minutes from 12 yards.
The Falcons Captain after the 9-0 thrashing says “the girls have really been positive in and out of the field, they have given 100%. This is our first tournament in a while, we just want to get something out of it.”
On scoring 4 goals, the female African footballer of the decade said “as a team, we came all out to have fun and also work hard. We worked hard in our last two games, tougher oppositions, we had the same mentality to get the result, get goals and keep going.”
On Antoinette Payne who assisted Oshoala’s first goal, the former FC Robo star said she added more quality to the team.
“She’s been really good. She’s a plus to the team, I’m happy she scored her first goal today and I hope she keeps going and enjoys her time with the team.”
Oshoala scored the last and the 9th goal of the game today.
