Super Falcons striker, Chiwendu Ihezuo has expressed her pleasure in scoring the match-winner in Thursday’s game against CSKA Moscow at the on-going Turkish Women’s Cup.
Chiwendu’s goal came in the 18th minute when a low cross from Francisca Ordega found her in the box.
Speaking after the match, the striker said she was pleased to be the scorer of the match-winner.
” I feel very great and happy for scoring in today’s game. I saw the opportunity coming and followed up to have a tap in.”
“We have to keep going to do better in our next games.” She concluded.
On how the coach, Randy Waldrum has managed the team, she said he is doing a great job.
“He is doing a great job, we have been together in a long while. He is doing his best.”
After the victory on Thursday, Super Falcons continue their quest on Saturday against Uzbekistan by 5 pm Ñigerian time
