Tudun Wada FC is set to face off against Palm Syrup FC in the highly anticipated final of the NLO Cup, a tournament sponsored by telecommunications giant MTN and First Central Credit Bureau.
Tudun Wada secured their spot in the final by defeating Green Lock FC with a convincing 3-1 victory in the second semi-final at the Sani Abacha Stadium, Kano.

The match remained goalless in the first 45 minutes, setting the stage for an intense second half. Tudun Wada broke the deadlock in the 57th minute when Peter Michael successfully converted a penalty, giving his team a crucial lead.
The lead extended to a two-goal cushion in the 60th minute, courtesy of Yusuf Mohammed’s successful penalty kick.
Green Lock FC initiated a potential comeback in the 62nd minute, with Damilola Adeyeye finding the net after some defensive lapses from Tudun Wada, narrowing the score to 2-1.

However, Tudun Wada sealed their victory in the 88th minute as Mubarak Sani scored the third goal, securing their place in the final.
This will be another final appearance for Tudun Wada FC, who previously clinched the title in the inaugural NLO Super Cup at the Uboma Secondary School Stadium Complex, Imo State.
The final, along with the third-place match, is scheduled to take place at the Bwari Stadium, Abuja.
