Udinese have confirmed the return of William Troost-Ekong to training, having missed the last two games due to an adductor injury.
Troost-Ekong trained with his teammates on Wednesday and Thursday ahead of Sunday’s clash against Frosinone.
The ex- KAA Gent and Bursaspor defender, who missed the 2-0 defeat to Atalanta and the goalless draw with Inter Milan at the weekend sustained the injury during his club’s 1-1 draw against Sassuolo last month.
“Positive note of today is the return to the group of William Troost- Ekong, after the injury to the adductor suffered in the game against Sassuolo,” read a statement on Udinese website.
Troost-Ekong has made 32 Serie A appearances this season for 17th-placed Udinese, who are just two points away from the drop zone, with three games remaining.
