Dynamite Force goalkeeper, Treasure Ikechuckwu has revealed the extent of their sacrifices behind the scene following their comeback victory against Vandrezzer FC edging out the Lagos-based club 1-3 despite trailing at half time at the Agege Soccer Temple.
The host took the lead from the penalty spot after Dynamite Force captain, handled a deflected shot with his hand and Treasure couldn’t keep out Amos colly slotted kick, Sports247 writes.
A rejuvenated Dynamite Force team came back at halftime and got back into the team after a loose ball in the penalty area found Thompson, Gbenga, and Harrison added two sensational strikes to end the host hope of victory.
Reacting after their thrilling display, Treasure allayed, “when they scored the deflected shot and we were trailing by a goal, we kept on playing and then we went in for a break at half time.”
“The coach said it’s not over until it’s over, I am so happy, I am the happiest person on earth with this win because this is our first away win, and first away goals. We have never scored away since the season started so you know how much this means to us as a team.”
“First away win and away from goal, we have been training so hard for this and finally we got it,” he elatedly admitted.
