Roberto Calenda, Victor Osimhen’s agent has rubbished circulating rumours that the Napoli forward is considering multiple options at his disposal before he signs the club’s renewal offer due to his influence to get more money from his transfer.
The Super Eagles of Nigeria striker who lead Napoli to a Scuddetto title to end their thirty three years wait has been subject of interest from European giants but his hefty price tag has been a major obstacle to acquire his services although the player is not keen on the move.
Italian transfer guru, Fabrizio Romano today reported that Roberto Calenda has come out to dispel the claims.
“Reports of my plan to explore all the options now and then not signing new contract at Napoli are completely fake”.
“Napoli offered new long term deal to Osimhen and are waiting for his final decision.”
Club president, Aurelio De Laurentiis is firm on his decision on the player and will only consider an offer ‘too good to refute’ to sanction his sale and without that, the striker will lead them next season under new manager.
