Liverpool striker, Taiwo Awoniyi has returned to the German Bundesliga on another loan deal, this time at Union Berlin.
The Nigerian had spent last season in the Bundesliga on loan at Mainz 05 scoring once in 12 appearances.
The Liverpool loanee now joins Union Berlin for another season to show his quality to his parent club.
With issues still on his United Kingdom work permit since joining Liverpool in 2015, Awoniyi has been shipped out 5 times on loan to Frankfurt, NEC, Royal Excel Mouscron, Gent, Mainz 05.
Despite joining the reds 5 years ago, Awoniyi is yet to make an appearance for the reds in any competitive match.
The striker will now be hoping to better his record of 1 goal last season with Union Berlin as he will be playing with another Nigerian, Anthony Ujah.
