With the Nationwide League One in full flight today, lots of results pouring in and a surprising one is new club Trade Safe Sport of Lagos defeating veteran club side First Bank FC 2-1 in the first game of the season.
Idowu Emmanuel did all at the defense for Trade safe sports and revealed his excitement and desire to gain promotion going forward after such a good start. “I feel great and it was a great game. We came here with determination and everything worked well for us,” he said.
“Our aim for coming here is to gain promotion, that’s our determination. We really don’t care about the other teams that are here. No matter the team we face, we just want to gain promotion,” he added.
The team next plays on Thursday at the same venue in Remo where they will play all their fixtures for the league in the coming weeks.
