The Confederation of African Football (CAF) together with hosts, Saudi Arabia Football Federation (SAFF) have unveiled today the official poster for this year’s TotalEnergies CAF Super Cup 2023 final which is set to take place on 15 September 2023.

The bespoke poster incorporates Arabic calligraphy and illustrations of the mountains of Taif, – the host venue.
The TotalEnergies CAF Super Cup Final 2023 will be contested by current TotalEnergies CAF Champions League champions, Al Ahly SC, and Algeria’s Union Sportive de la Médina d’Alger (“USMA”), the champions of the TotalEnergies CAF Confederation Cup. The match is set to be played in the city of Taif at the iconic King Fahd Stadium.
Egypt’s Al Ahly, winners of the Total Energies CAF Champions League, will face Algeria’s USM Alger, who lifted the TotalEnergies CAF Confederation Cup trophy.
The TotalEnergies CAF Super Cup trophy is prominently featured on the poster, with both clubs competing for continental glory.
The launch of the poster signals the impending excitement of the continental showpiece, as Al Ahly and USM Alger battle to be crowned Africa’s club kings.
The match will be held at the iconic King Fahd Stadium in the city of Taif, kicking off.

Earlier this year, CAF and SAFF signed a landmark five-year Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at hosting competitions and nurturing growth opportunities for both African and Saudi football.
The MoU encompasses initiatives focusing on technical and football development at both club and national team levels, grassroots football, women’s football, talent identification, competitions, friendly matches, and commercial prospects.
