Edo Beads bounced back to winning ways after stumbling against Nile University on matchday two.
The coach Victor Umoru led team came out blazing to put away struggling Safety Knights by 88-67pts.
Speaking after the game, Coach Umoru thanked the Edo State Government for its support as he singled out the State’s Deputy Governor, Rt. Honorable Phillip Shuaibu for his unflinching support.
“Without the state government, it would have been impossible to have participated in the league because of the financial implications. The State Government through His Excellency, Rt. Honorable Phillip Shuaibu has continued to come through for us.”
Commenting on the game, Umoru praised his players for playing according to instructions.
“I feel good and it was a good game because the players played according to instruction. It was nice for my boys to have bounced back in an emphatic manner after the loss to Nile University.

Nile University flowed unhindered as they ground out a 71-70pts win against Lagos Legends.
The game went down to the last second of the game with Emmanuel James sealing the last two points in a game where the lead changed 15 times and both teams tied on points 7 times.
On Saturday, Police Bombers will be looking for their first win in the National Conference Finals when they face fellow strugglers, Safety Knights.
Edo Beads will be up against ABU Kings, Lagos Legends to play Yobe Warriors while Ebun Comets will meet Nile University.
