National sports Festival which has so far kick started in Abuja officially yesterday, have recorded it’s first tournament top disqualification , the festival has had Segun Toriola disqualified over duel registration.
Segun Toriola is a Nigerian professional table tennis player who is the youngest of nine brothers , he has been ranked as the best Nigerian player.
He has been amongst the top table tennis players in Africa since the mid-1990s.
Segun Toriola the table tennis player, has had himself disqualified from the 19th Sport festival.
It was known that Segun Toriola was registered twice by two different states Delta and Akwa Ibom which the by-laws of the festival states no one should be registered twice as a contingent for two different states.
Automatically Toriola has being officially disqualified from the 19th National festival following his dual registration.
