Top foreign and local football clubs and renowned scouts are hotly on the heels of some of the young talented footballers selected by the coterie of football coaches at the recently held TopPro Sport Management football scouting tournament in Lagos.
With 15 players picked from the list of 32 players selected from the over 600 players representing 28 grassroots teams from across the country, TopPro Sports Management, have embarked upon a series of friendly games against top Nigerian teams to test the qualities of the players and as well, put them in good stead ahead of local and foreign deals.
After five games played by the selected side, the young lads have got coaches, scouts, and club owners, including Remo Stars boss, Kunle Soname, Hakeem Busari, coach of Gateway FC, and several others drooling excitedly about the potentials of the starry-eyed lads.
According to an equally excited CEO of TopPro Sports Management, Ayodele Thomas, the essence of taking the selected players around the country for friendly games is aimed at testing the readiness of the lads for local and foreign deals. As well as, keeping to the avowed promises of his company to change the narratives in grassroots football development in Nigeria.
