Toni Payne Shares Insights On Super Falcons’ Preparation For Match Against Cape Verde

Toni Payne, a key player for the Super Falcons, provided insights into the team’s preparation for the upcoming match against Cape Verde.

Speaking about her return to Nigeria with the national team, Payne highlighted the significance of not underestimating their opponents.

“It’s nice to be back in Nigeria with the Super Falcons,” said Payne. “We haven’t played Cape Verde, so we definitely can’t take them for granted. All teams are improving and getting better, and so every team has to play at their best.”

Acknowledging the challenges of not having all players available for the camp, Payne expressed confidence in the team’s capabilities. “It’s unfortunate not to have all our players in the team for this camp, but we have Gift Monday and Uchenna, so we are very confident going into this match.”
