Tojemarine, Police Machine Qualify Prudent Energy Handball Premier League

Tojemarine of Lagos and Police Machine have gained promotion into the Prudent Energy Handball Premier League 2021 which will hold in Abuja in October.

The teams booked their place in the top-tier Handball League after their semi-final matches in the National Division One Handball League in Benin on Friday.

Tojemarine played probably their toughest match of the National Division One League as they held their own to defeat Correctional Boys 26-24 to make it into the final.

The hope of Owena Kings of Akure to return to the Prudent Energy Handball Premier League was quenched after a motivated Police Machine side defeated them 34-32.

The final between Tojemarine Academy and Police Machine will be played later on Friday evening while the third place between Owena Kings and Correctional Boys will precede the final.

In the women category, Bayelsa Queens and Confluence Queens qualified for the Prudent Energy Handball Premier League after coming first and second respectively in the National Division One League standings.
