Nigerian teenager Chido Obi-Martin has officially signed with Manchester United, leaving Arsenal’s youth setup after a successful stint at the North London club.
The 16-year-old striker confirmed the move through his social media account, expressing his excitement: “Very happy to sign with this amazing club, time to focus and achieve all my dreams. Thanks to everyone who has helped me get this far.”
The transfer was completed in September, but the official announcement was delayed pending Premier League clearance, which has now been secured.

Obi-Martin is expected to join United’s Under-18 squad and aims to contribute significantly under the guidance of the coaching staff.
