Tiamiyu Kazeem: NNL Club Owners mourn with Remo Stars over death of player

The Association of Nigeria National League, NNL club managers have condoles with the management of Remo Stars Sports Club over the death of their player, Tiyamiyu Kazeem, who was allegedly killed by officials of a security agency last Saturday.

In a statement sighed by the association’s president, Mallam Abdul Sule, the club owners described Tiamiyu’s death as a great loss to the football family and prayed God to grant the soul of the late footballer eternal rest.

The association also called for in depth investigation to the cause of his death just as it solicit a better synergy between the football family and security agencies to forestall similar occurrence in the future.

“We want to send our condolences to the entire Remo Stars Sports Club and the football family over the painful death of Tiamiyu Kazeem.

“His death was a painful loss to the football community in Nigeria.

May God grant his soul eternal rest while praying that God console his immediate family and Remo Stars Sports Club.

“We want to charge the Nigerian Police to thoroughly investigate this case and bring the culprit who snatched life out of a great talent like Tiamiyu to book.

“There must be a lasting solution to this unfortunate killing of our price assets, its time the football authorities relate with all security agencies to find a way to put an end to this,” said the former Super Eagles’ defender.
