Nimrod expressed confidence in the team’s preparation, stating that the federation has done its part to ensure the athletes are in top shape for the competition. “I’ve handed over the thing to the ministry. I’m not in charge. I did my camping before the ministry took over and I thank God the ministry appreciated the effort,” he said.
He further revealed that the team had been in camp for three weeks prior to the ministry’s involvement. “Before the ministry called for a camp we were in camp for three weeks. So you keep people for three weeks before the ministry. Is there anybody that will put his resources to that extent without looking towards the podium,” he added.
This statement underscores the federation’s commitment to the team’s success at the African Games, highlighting the extensive resources invested in their preparation. The team’s performance at the games will indeed be a testament to these efforts.
