1. Aerobics Exercise : Your child develops endurance when he regularly engages in aerobic activity.
2. Anaerobic Exercise : Anaerobics are strengthening and toning exercises. Your child doesn’t need to start a weight-lifting program to develop strength. He simply needs to be playing instead of watching TV. The climbing, running, jumping, wrestling, tumbling, and handstands that children naturally incorporate into their playtime will adequately strengthen their growing muscles.
However you can make a fun obstacle course using push-ups, sit-ups, pull-ups, and other exercises if you feel your child needs additional toning and strengthening. Or take your child to the playground to play on the monkey bar. It’s fun and builds strength.
3. Flexibility and Posture Exercises : Stretching is the best way to develop flexibility because it allows your child’s muscles and joints to extend to full range of motion. To get kids to stretch, have them stand on tiptoe and reacb for the sky, bend over amd touch their toes while keepinh their legs straight, do a split, or do a cartwheel.
