Ahead of the Lagos State coaches Football Association Chairmanship election former Flying Eagles goalkeeper, Coach David Dosun Oluwasegun has lamented about the poor state of coaches in our football system.
The former Gateway Fc and Go Round Fc player who is among the 3 contenders in the September 30th Lagos State Coaches Football Association Chairmanship Election, felt so bad concerning the poor state of coaches in Nigeria.
In a chat with Sports 247, Dosu stated clearly that if being given the opportunity to become the Lagos State Football Coaches Association Chairman, he will revive the Coaching System in the Grassroot with a better welfare package and by the help of God in his side, come 30th September, he will win the elections.
“I want to have experience in this coaching line, that’s why I went out to work outside Lagos, and then when I came back home and watched all the young coaches here, I have to admit that the Grassroot coaches here are suffering. That was why I decided to go for that position and start from the grassroots before I move up higher. I want the Grassroot coaches to learn from my knowledge”.
“I believe that with the Grace of God and with other coaches with me, I will win the election, come September 30th, because our Grassroots Coaches seriously needs revival”, he assured.
David Dosu Oluwasegun is the elder brother of Joseph Dosu, as he hopes to become the Chairman of the Lagos State Football Coaches Association and fulfill his desire of reviving the Grassroot football coaches in Nigeria, come September 30th.
