Dannaz Football Club emerged the 2022 champions of the Winners Golden Bet Lagos FA Cup after defeating Ottasolo FC 3-1 in the finals held at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena.
In a game which they dominated, Enoch Ebuka, goalkeeper of Dannaz FC was awarded the best goalkeeper of the competition and quickly he set his sights on a move to Europe when asked what his goal was as a player after dedicating the cup to his dad.
“The goal na Europe o,” he told Sports247 very quickly.
“I’m dedicating the cup to my dad, he doesn’t believe in football but I promise to make him proud and I will do it,” he added.
The young goalkeeper expressed his joy and excitement at being an FA Cup champion despite not believing his side could win it at the start.
“I feel so happy today, I’m very happy and I’m so grateful to be able to win the cup,” Ebuka said.
“I did not (believe we would win the cup), but I knew nothing is impossible and that’s why I’m so excited to win the cup,” Ebuka concluded.
