Mr. Promise Uwaeme, the Chairman, LOC of the FWC Champions FCT Secondary Schools Football Tournament, has expressed delight with the talents revealed in the ongoing competition.
Speaking to newsmen in Abuja, he stated that the country at large has got great hope and future in the game of football, going by what he has seen so far with the tournament.
His words “I must confess that the FCT is blessed with a lot of talents in football. We are also happy that we have been able to give them the opportunity to showcase what they can do outside the usual academics.
“I am hoping that at the end of the day, they will be able to develop this talent and have a better future for themselves.
However, the tournament continues on Monday as six schools are left to battle for the trophy.
Meanwhile, GSS Mabushi will face GDSS Abaji on Monday, October 28 while the game between GSS Apo and GSS Giri will follow at the FWC Champions Fortress, Wuye, Abuja.
