Atlantic Business Football Club skipper, Cosmos who scored the winning goal for his side against Sporting Lagos at the dying minutes of The Creative Championship 2022 opening game has described the moment surreal as he confessed he never anticipated that goal while charging teammates to always believe even to the last minute.
The game was at 2-2 at the normal time with everyone’s sight set for a shared points only for Atlantic Business Football Club skipper, Cosmos out of nowhere rose high to a cross to score a fantastic header in the closing part of the additional two minutes to seal all three points for his side.
“In the game of football, there should always be a positive spirit, believe that the game can be won at any seconds and that’s just what we exhibited there,” Cosmos said in exclusive interview with Sports247.ng.
“This opening away victory will motivate us to work hard, believe that anything as far as football is concerned is possible, any game can be won.”
“Going forward for us, any game is winnable against anyone no matter the circumstance, anyhow it comes,” he posited.
