Mr Nwaomucha stated this at the Patrick Okpomo House, Headquarters of the Delta Football Association while playing host to members of the Delta State All Stars Football Association, DELSAFA.
The DFA Chairman said that the body was willing to partner with relevant bodies and organization towards taking the football sector in the state to enviable heights as Delta was blessed with abundant talents.
Mr Nwaomucha said that the body would also work with relevant bodies towards creating a robust football culture in the state aimed at enhancing the welfare of ex-footballers.
He enjoined well meaning organizations to partner with the DFA towards revamping the football sector in the State.
The President of DELSAFA, Mr Edwin Ofa said they were at the football house to congratulate the newly elected DFA board on their successful elections and victories.
Mr Ofa said DELSAFA will not relent in offering it’s quota towards the development of the game in the state. The DELSAFA President said the body which is barely a year old had been able to attend to plight of some ex-footballers.
He said the body would continue to work with the DFA towards enhancing the economic well-being of ex-footballers in the state through several outreach programs. He assured the DFA Boss of the associations commitment to partnering with it towards achieving set goals.
Some members of the board who spoke including a former captain of the defunct Eagle Cement Football Club of Port Harcourt Me Steve Cole, former Super Eagles defender, Sam Sodje as well as ace broadcaster Harrison Ochulor said the DFA was set to redirect the development of football in the state and urged well placed individuals and organizations to partner with the body in a bid to engage the young talents in the state.
They also said the Newly elected DFA was working on a blue print aimed at transforming the sector in the state.
