This weekend, football returns to schools across the state through the Ekiti State Football Association in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, Science, and technology.
It is very delightful for me as I am a testimony of what the round leather game can do. Football gives me the expression, and above all things, many of my lifelong dreams have come to pass through football.
While there are Higher heights still to be attained, being the scribe for the State FA is a tremendous feat and I am truly honored to be serving in this capacity and assisting with the giant strides to build a sustainable football ecosystem in Ekiti.
This is a passionate appeal to all Ekiti Kete to support the students and schools who will be taking part in the All Secondary Schools Football Competition which has now commenced in Ikere and Aiyekire.
Prizes to be won include Sports and Education scholarships for the best players, medals, and lots of other goodies for the winning players and schools.
