Temitope Adeshina delivered a commanding performance in the women’s high jump at the Big 12 Indoor Track and Field Championships, securing the gold medal with a 1.90m clearance.

Competing for Texas Tech, Adeshina successfully defended her Big 12 indoor title on Saturday at the Sports Performance Centre. Her victory follows her outdoor championship win last year, highlighting her remarkable consistency.

Her teammates also delivered strong performances, with Evelyn Lavielle tying for fourth place at 1.86m and Claire Lowrey finishing seventh with 1.81m. Adeshina’s win, along with these solid results, helped Texas Tech officially clinch the Big 12 Championship, a title they had already been leading comfortably.
