It’s matchday 5, and host, Team Sokoto are possibly on their way to win almost all the categories of the competition as the National Under 12/15 Handball Championship, holding at the Gingiya Memorial Stadium in Sokoto draws near to close.
Sokoto are already champions of the under 12 girls category as they won two games in the three team group.
Imo came second as they played two matches winning one and losing the other while Nisha lost out in the two matches they played.
In the semi final of the under 12 boys category, Sokoto defeated Najet 32-22 to get into the final. They will play high flying Tojemarine Academy who defeated Kebbi 22-16
In the under 15 girls seminar final Sokoto ruthlessly defeated Imo 15-2 to get into the final and will also face Tojemarine who had to struggle to defeat Abia 14-12 to keep their run intact.
Sokoto are also in the finals of the under 15 boys category as they defeated Niger 22-19.
They will play the winner between Tojemarine and Adamawa.
