Team Ondo downed Team Osun 86 – 44 Friday, to win the second edition of Blitzik Basketball two-day Clinic and Challenge.
The tourney that saw a round-robin format was staged at the indoor sports hall of the Ondo State Sports Complex Akure, with Ogun and Ekiti the other competing teams.
The convener of the clinic, Isaac Afolabi expressed satisfaction at the conclusion of the 2021 edition of the clinic.
The Radio Nigeria – Positive 102.5FM’s sports reporter stated: “I am so happy that the project turned out successfully again.
“This is just a way to contribute to sports and youth development as an individual, government alone cannot do it all.”
Afolabi concluded by thanking all stakeholders that made the project a success, particularly Japan Aviation School, Yamanashi, Japan who contributed immensely to the Basketball Clinic/Challenge.
Dignitaries present at the event include General Manager, Ondo State Sports Council, Mr. Henry Babatunde, former Ondo Basketball Association Chairman, Segun Ikuesan, Ondo SWAN Chairman, Wahab Bankole among others.
