Lagos State football team player, Ezekiel Light has stated that he and his Lagos State football teammates’ expectation at the National Sports Festival is to win the Gold medal.
The National Sports Festival, which commences on February 14th (Valentine’s Day) in Benin City, Edo State is set to produce exciting events, including amazing football actions from various teams across the state.
In a chat with Sports247, a Player of the Lagos State team, Eziekel Light, who is popularly called ‘Okoro’ by members of his team has expressed his optimism on his team (Lagos State Football team) emerging victorious in the event and claiming the Gold medal in the football tournament. He also admitted that he wishes to play in Europe in the near future.
“My target is to play in Europe in the near future”.
“It is going to be a very good time playing for the Lagos State football team at the festival. This is my first time playing at the festival. I will put up my best in the event to make sure we come out victorious in Benin. I believe that with my efforts and that of my teammates, we will win the Gold medal,” the superb Wonderkid stated.
Ezekiel Light plays for Handsworth United Academy in Lagos. He was supposed to be part of the 30 man squad listed by Coach Fatai Amao to feature at the U17 WAFU tournament in Togo but was dropped due to his failure of the MRI test.
