Team Bayelsa State is closely trailing in second place, boasting 7 gold, 4 silver, and 3 bronze medals. Edo State occupies the third spot with 1 gold, 1 silver, and 3 bronze medals.
Rounding out the top five are Imo State in fourth position with 1 gold, 1 silver, and 3 bronze medals, and Team Ondo State in fifth place with 1 gold and 1 silver medal.
As the competition intensifies, Team Delta State is poised to continue its dominance, participating in 17 sports. With the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) powering the Nigeria South-South Mini Olympic Games, Team Delta is determined to make history as the winner of the inaugural Niger-Delta Sports Festival.
