Team Nigeria captain to this year’s Youth Olympics in Argentina, Ineh Emmanuel has pledged that the contingent will give their best during their respective competitions, in order to make the country proud.
Emmanuel said during a formal send forth ceremony organised for the contingent on Tuesday in Abuja that they are all proud to carry Nigeria’s banner and thanked the ministry for their support.
Sports247.ng reports that the team captain further declared that they all want to make marks for their respective careers as well and affirmed their strong desire to do the nation proud in Argentina.
Emmanuel said: “We are the best of the best here that make the team for the Youth Olympics, and I believe that we are going to put in our very best to make all Nigerians proud of us.’’
