For the first time in five attempts, Broad City FC finally defeat three times TCC League champions and record holder, Beyond Limits FA and Broad City goaltender, Isaac Okeoghene, has attributed the win to series of analysis and video review of how the Ikenne-based side love to set up and play.
“We’ve been watching video analysis on them from the start of the week till last night and we came here with that spirit and mentality of winning the game and we hope to also win the league”, Isaac told Sports247 just before sharing his thoughts on the late goal he conceded from range.
“I shouted a lot but we still ended up losing a little focus which led to the goal. I can’t really complain because it was a good game as we played against our strong rival from previous seasons. Apart from the clean sheet lost, it was still a good game”, Isaac added.
The lad was however full of confidence that a win in such a fixture on opening day of the league means the team can certainly take on any other league opponent even as they prepare to face Gbagada FC in the next fixture.
“If we can win this game, we can definitely win any other team. We will keep putting in the efforts and we believe we’ll keep going higher”, Isaac confidently stated.
