After playing a goalless draw against fellow Dipo Dina Stadium tenants, Escola United’s winger Abass Adeniyi says his team doesn’t feel like they’re playing in their first TCC season.
“We don’t feel like it’s our first time in the league and that is the mood across the board and we will work on being better in the next game as there’s still a long way to go,” Abass told Sports247.
Escola started life in the TCC League with a convincing 3-1 win over Iganmu FC on Matchday one but couldn’t find the breakthrough past an Atlantic Business side who were looking to bounce back from their opening day loss.
“Not the result we wanted but we’re still happy we did not lose. It wasn’t an easy fixture as it was tight from start to finish”, Abass said as the team is still yet to lose in the league.
