Broad City FC got their first pound of flesh over Beyond Limits FA when they defeated the a three-time league champions 3-1 in Matchday -one of the season, leading the coach of Broad City to refer to the opponents as a “regular” team.
“Beating the defending champions is a good thing, they can’t be there forever as nobody stays at the top for eternity. They are a regular team like every other team. They are like every other team and we’ve been able to take three points from them,” Broad City coach Oluwaseun Ogunmoyero said.
The coach however condemned the late goal conceded by his boys, blaming it on their slow transition but took positives from the maximum point from the game.
“I see no reason why the boys will concede that goal. We were very slow with the transition and it showed but good one for the boys, three points and it gives us an edge,” Oluwaseun concluded.
