TCC League debutants, Real Sapphire FC maintained their unbeaten start to life in the TCC with a win 3-1 win over Sporting Lagos in match week two of the season In Ijebu Ode with the plaudits going to two-goal match hero, Adamu Ibrahim.

Adamu who started the second-half turnover told Sports247 that the win was as a result of the advice of their coach on being here for business.
“It is good for us to finally win a game. The coach has told us we’re here for real business and should take every game seriously”
Despite finishing the game with a red card just like their opening fixture of the league, Adamu’s second-half goals earned him the man of the match award which he dedicated to his teammates.

“The result today was just a testament to the fact we listened to the coach and I’m grateful to my teammates for this man of the match award,” he said.
Real Sapphire have four points from two games and are one of five teams without a defeat this season as they host Dannaz FC next week.
