For the first time in six weeks, Beyond Limits FA finally taste the top spot again in The Creative Championship 2023 League season after a 3-0 victory over Broad City FC.
Three first-half goals, one from Ogundana Shola flanked on both sides by a brace from Onyebuchi Obasi ensured that the defending champions return to the summit to the delight of Olushola.
“We were not comfortable not being at the top so to get there after this win gives us all joy,” Ogundana Shola told Sports247.
“We believe in hard work and we’ll continue to do that as we want to achieve our target, encouraging one another on a daily basis as we know we have the best platform to showcase our talents,” the lad added.
Olushola was awarded the man of the match award which he attributed to the joint effort of the team.
“Now that we’re back at the top, we must maintain it. Picking up the award is a joyful thing but it’s as a result of the team’s effort,”, Shola said.
