Sporting Lagos were pegged back by an amazing comeback by Broad City in Match week six of the TCCLeague after going two goals up.
Goals from Chukwuma Emmanuel and Adio Ojora set Sporting Lagos on the road for three points before finishing the game 2-2 to the disappointment of the captain Vincent.
“Not the result we expected after going two goals up and in the comfort zone,” Vincent who picked up the man of the match award told Sports247.
“Ending with a draw brought disappointment to us. We already had our hands on maximum points but then it’s football,” he added.
Vincent however praised the fight from the opposing side but stated his side mustn’t make such a mistake again.
“The opponents played so well, a lot of fighting spirit but there are other games to play and we’ll come back better to never make such mistake again,” he concluded.
