Gbagada FC suffered a home defeat in match week six of The Creative Championship League when the defending champions, Beyond Limits visited Lagos.
Beyond Limits put two unreplied goals past the Gbagada Boys to return to winning ways and coach of Gbagada FC has said there’s no time to waste.
“It was a difficult one to take, losing 2-0 at home, it’s not good enough from us,” Akinyelu Olajide said.
“We do not have time, we’ll return to the pitch to train and continue our preparations for the game against Valiant. We’ll give it our best shot as this is not the time to rest,” he added.
Gbagada FC sit in 9th position of the ten team league table but are only 5 points off the leaders, newcomers Sporting Lagos but the manager was full of praises for his side and he feels the performances can be built upon.
“In as much as we lost, they all did well. They executed the game plan only that certain moments in the game they defensively didn’t get it right. I’m satisfied with the performance, we will build on this and the results will start coming,” Akinyelu said.
