Isaac Okoeghene, Broad City goalkeeper was at his best in his side narrow loss to Sporting Lagos with his goalkeeping heroics earning him a man of the match award winner despite the defeat in matchday thirteen of the Creative League.
If it was not because of Isaac’s brilliant performance as a goalkeeper of Broad City, Sporting Lagos would have scored more than a goal as he made top saves to salvage his side defeat to the barest minimum.
He gave a very good account of himself in between the sticks. It was a display that could give a player the call up to the national team.
According to Isaac after the match, he lamented “not the result we expected but we still have to thank God and my performance is something that I feel is a good day for me as a player,” Sports247.ng writes.
“Just to keep practicing and training hard. I know as a team we will bounce back and get the desired result in the next encounter,” he positively charged.
“It’s not about me wining the man of the match award but for the team to bounce back and be on a wining streak.”
