It was a winning start to The Creative Championship League season for Gbagada FC and that’s thanks to a Gabriel Sanders goal which was enough to pick a 1-0 victory over Dannaz FC on a wet morning.
Gabriel told Sports247 that scoring was the mission as well as ensuring not to concede as instructed by the coach.
“It was an awesome game. From the start we concentrated on getting the goal, keeping the ball and also defending as the coach instructed us not to concede especially if we can’t score,” Gabriel said to Sports247.
Gabriel, playing in his second TCC season for Gbagada FC shared his intentions to help the team and target a top of the table position and also playing for the Super Eagles of Nigeria.
“I want to score more goals, create more chances for the team and basically just help the team to get to the top of the league,” he said.
“I’ve chosen Football as a career and I want to get to the top, playing for big clubs like Real Madrid which is my favorite club and also I want to wear the green and white jersey of Nigeria,” Gabriel concluded.
